Income Protection (IP)
Income Protection (IP) is also known as Permanent Health Insurance (PHI).
Income Protection policies are individual plans designed to pay out a tax free benefit to replace employed or self employed income which has ceased due to inability to work as a result of illness, injury or disability.
There is no payout in the event of unemployment or redundancy.

Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI)
Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI) is also known as Accident, Sickness & Unemployment insurance (ASU).
Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance policies are designed to provide a monthly payout to cover mortgage and mortgage related expenditure in the event of accident sickness and/or unemployment. MPPI is not designed to replace income.
